Obesity is a condition in which the natural energy reserve, stored in the fatty tissue of humans and other mammals, exceeds healthy limits. It is commonly defined as a body mass index (weight divided by height squared) of 30 kg/m2 or higher.

Although obesity is an individual clinical condition, some authorities view it as a serious and growing public health problem. In 2007, Oprah, that she needed a document, when they suddenly some symptoms of the disease - swollen legs and lethargy. The doctors diagnosed the case as the thyroid. As mentioned in her interview recently, she felt as if they are "locked up". The fact that they eat, a controlled diet seems to fuel their hunger, and almost forced them to eat more and more.

Oprah says:

"Food for me was something like an addict to drugs. I did it for my feelings. I've started my frustration." In addition, the thyroid, the food addiction much to their weight gain.
